We urgently need your help!

The rent at the 300 House residence for homeless black men and women will increase by 50%, and we can’t afford the pay increase.  The increase will start in Jan 2020, so the people currently sheltered in our program are in danger of becoming homeless again.

Help the 300 purchase a new property that will serve as the new home for our people and KEEP HOPE ALIVE! We have a piece of property we would like to buy buy we need to cover the 10% down payment. Again this will provide housing for the homeless who are in constant danger of being assaulted, robbed, and trafficked, as they try to survive in the streets.

We are very grateful for donations of any size!

We are operated by committed volunteers, so 100% of all donations go directly to providing safe housing for black people who need it the most!

The 300 was formed to help black people who are survivors of addiction, violence, homelessness, and incarceration HEAL, EMPOWER, and ACHIEVE their dreams, living in their purpose.

Since 2016, 300 has been part of the solution to America’s skyrocketing black homeless problem.  Homelessness in community has risen by 63%, and in some areas black America homelessness has been classified as a Humanitarian Crisis by a recent UN report.

Approximately 1000’s of black people are homeless at a given time in LA alone,

68% of these are African American men.

According to the Women’s Funding Network, less then 1% of all philanthropic dollars in the U.S. go towards black men, women and children.

In 3 years we have provided critically needed services to 344 black people. We are one of the few programs providing housing for strictly black people (regardless of their ability to pay), and the ONLY program which provides housing for up to one year while our people attend school/job-training programs.

Over 80% the people who have completed our program have been successful in transforming their lives -they have gone to college, found good jobs, started businesses, and obtained long-term housing!  Many now volunteer to give back to others in their community.

I believe everyone can help someone.

Thank you for your contribution!
