Campaign Story
Hi, my name is Ka”Naysha, and I’m a freshman at Chapman University. I’m currently a Chemistry major, and hope to be a OBGYN in the future. Unfortunately, I’m having financial issues that could hinder my goals.
In order to be able to enroll in Fall semester courses, I need to pay the the final $6,000 in tuition fees I owe from the Fall semester. I work on campus, but much of that money goes towards my dad, who is supporting my two sisters and I, for things like rent, food, etc. I tried applying for private loans, but I can’t without a co-signer. I tried with 3 different people, but none of them qualified.
I don’t expect to get the full $10,000, but anything would help. I’ve met so many amazing people here and been able to attend a school with an amazing community and education. It really feels like home here. I worked so hard to get where I am today, studying at a rigorous private college prep home school since 7th grade, and I would hate to throw all that away simply because I can’t support myself. I’m a very hard worker, and dedicated to my studies, maintaining all A’s and B’s. I would love to stay at Chapman, instead of transferring to a community college, if possible.
This is truly my last resort. I would be forever grateful for any and all support.
